Fray Bentos all day breakfast

Cooked it to the instructions. It doesn't tell you about fan oven temperature so I had to guess. Pastry was golden brown on top, slimy underneath. The filling, well, it smelt nasty, looked nasty and tasted nasty. Bacon? Where? Black pudding? Where? All I saw was beans, gravy and sausage. Oh, and slimy pastry. I wouldn't even feed it to the dog. You can't get it out of the tin and the serving suggestion on the lid is ridiculous. Never, ever buying this again. It tasted like sick.

Wheres the filling

The filling consisted of a tomato-ish sauce, a few beans, two bits of bacon, and a slurry at the bottom, that must have been the black pudding and Cumberland sausage bits. I would definitely not buy this again.

WEEKEND BREAKFAST

Recently tried this and I think it makes the perfect weekend breakfast treat. One pie per person of course lol. The batter goes well with the beans, sausage and black pudding and was filling.
