Old eggs
The the hens are in full laying right now - So how come these eggs are old? The carton says display until 17th July, best before 24th July. However when I crack them gently the yolks break and the albumen is watery and runs flat with little 'jelly' albumen. Both of these signs are those of an older egg. I'm sure they are still safe to eat.
