Originally brewed to celebrate Somerset County Cricket Club's Centenary in 1991. The beer is a dark amber strong premium bitter with a good malty taste, a full hopped aroma and a long dry finish with a hint of sweetness. Traditionally brewed from crystal and chocolate malts and a blend of four hop varieties, Fuggle, Goldings, First Gold and Bobek. A beer to savour on its own and a great match for roast meats and steaks.

One of a few bottled fizz that comes out well in a bottle. Delightful, smooth and on the stronger side its a must try.

this is a gorgeous bitter. stronger but not with a bitter taste. its malty in flavour and not gassy either. fully recommended.
