Subtle flavours and low alcohol intensity means Corona can be overpowered. However, it's fragrant nature and citrus notes, when combined with lime, also make it a great partner for several cuisines: in particular Thai, Chinese and Mexican. The sweetness from the malts is also at the right level to reduce medium heat that can often be found in dishes from these areas.
HOME-RUN PAIRING: NACHOS
Corn Nachos will have flavor matches with the corn used as part of the grain bill for Corona. The carbonation will help cut through any rich and fatty toppings such as avocado, sour cream or cheese, whilst the malt sweetness will offset any moderate heat from jalapenos or other varieties of chillis. Checked out the beer offers,,,Offer showing each case of Corona at £9.99 per case...Bought 12 cases of Corona..delivered to find that offer limited to two cases..very dubious to not show that on the offers page....I have been hoodwinked...how many others have been duped....Customer Services couldn't care less....You have lost me as a customer....not good practice!

NOT MADE IN MEXICO
I always like to buy beer brewed in its own country, struggle to see how a beer brewed with UK water can taste the same as Mexican water! Corona has always been a great beer imported from Mexico, but to my horror the case received advises "Brewed and Distributed in UK by AB InBev UK". Morrisons website still says imported from Mexico ITS NOT!

Not Imported from Mexico, misleading description.
I like Corona, but these had hardly any flavour, just like fizzy water. Turns out it's brewed in UK by AB Inbev - a kiss of death for many decent foreign beers.
