Recipes
Carnation Chocolate Fudge Cake
Serves: 16 Approximate time: 65 minutes
Tin: 2x 8 inch cake tins
Ingredients: 200g self-raising flour, 1tsp bicarbonate of soda, 125g dark chocolate, 100ml oil, 100ml water, 2 eggs, 1tsp vanilla essence, 405g Carnation Light Condensed Milk, 363g Carnation Chocolate filling and topping
Method;
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C with fan) 2. Microwave dark chocolate in bowl until melted. Add condensed milk, oil, water, eggs, & vanilla & stir until smooth. 3. Sieve flour and bicarbonate of soda in large bowl. Pour in half chocolate mix. Stir well, add remainder & mix until smooth. 4. Pour mixture evenly into cake tins & bake for 20 minutes or until springy & cooked in centre. 5. Once cool, sandwich cakes together with chocolate filling and topping. Use remainder to cover top & sides.
