In our endless pursuit of flavour, we have championed whisky's essential raw ingredient - barley. We have sourced our crops from inside Scotland and put flavour and farmer first. With those farmers, we have shared in the risk and reward of seeking the best, from the ground up, and are united in our mission to leave behind healthy lands for young hands.
Resurrecting our Victorian distillery in 2001, we set course to be whisky pioneers. Aiming to make the most thought-provoking spirit possible, we introduced the idea of terroir to whisky, advocated for total transparency, and challenged the origin of flavour. We discovered that whisky can be more than just a drink. It can be a positive force for change, as we continue to reconnect land, community and dram.
