Storage and Usage
Cooking Guidelines
Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Remove from the fridge 20 minutes before cooking and remove from all packaging to allow meat to reach room temperature. Ensure pan is hot by pre-heating over a high heat before adding a little oil. Season meat and add to the pan. Ensure the meat is fully sealed on all sides.
Rare: Fry for 2 minutes on each side.
Medium: Fry for 4 minutes on each side.
Well done: Fry for 6 minutes on each side or until cooked to preference. Remove from heat, keep warm, cover and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Gorgeous!
I've been buying these steaks for ages and they never disappoint. Three minutes on each side, rest for five minites and you have the perfect juicy steak. Lovely!
Poor quality control
As others have mentioned its a lottery as regards the quality of the fillet. This weeks was an inferior steak, parts were ok but most was inedible, tough and fibrous. Im all for no wastage but when a company advertises a cut of meat (in this case fillet steak) the customer,understandably, has certain expectations. In this case they were not met!

bought 4 fillet steaks 2 of which were tail-end (cheaper cuts and a lot tougher) shame on you for charging full price.
fillet steak very fatty
This steak was very fatty, would not recommend. Tasteless and chewy and we left the majority of this.

I have purchased this twice 2 Steaks each time and have to say that it cooked, cut and tasted beautiful both times. I have just one again to try in a stir fry.
Don’t waste your money
For a fillet this was so fatty , didn’t eat 80% of it.
