Each treatment kills fleas within 24 hours and for up to 8 weeks, and ticks within 48 hours and for up to 4 weeks. It contains Fipronil plus (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator, which inhibits the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae for up to 8 weeks after application, preventing re-infestation of the pet's home environment.
