Meat Tough
Decent sized meal but beef was tough
Tasty
Meat tender, roasties crisp, Yorkshire small but perfect, what's not to like? MUST be done in the oven.
Why black pepper
This is a nice cooked meal spoilt by black pepper.
good stand by
definitely the best frozen roast. the beef is real meat - not reconstituted & it's not too salty. roast potatoes are disappointing. Def a good stand by to have in freezer. best done in oven
very disappointed
First time Ive tried this brand of frozen roast dinner and I wont be having it again. The packaging said best oven cooked but gave microwave instructions too. I opted for microwave so maybe thats where the problem lies? The whole thing tasted very bland and the beef was the toughest Ive ever come across.
Best ready meal for ages!
We are not generally keen on ready meals as they are almost invariably disappointing. Not this one, which we tried yesterday and will certainly be having it again. If others have not liked this meal l can only suggest they have not followed the directions properly. I recommend using the oven rather than the microwave, and make sure you follow the directions exactly. Yum yum!
