Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General. Tastiest when oven baked straight from the freezer.
- Please ensure food is cooked until piping hot.
- These instructions are guidelines only.
- Do not refreeze after defrosting.; Grill - From Frozen. Medium/High grill, 18 mins
Pre-heat the grill.
Turn over occasionally.
Cook until crisp and golden.; Other - From Frozen. Alternatively, air fry
200°C, 10 mins
Pre-heat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 1/2 mins.
Place 2 fish fingers in the basket and place in air fryer. Turn over after 5 minutes.
Cook until crisp and golden.
Allow to stand for 1 minute.; Oven cook - From Frozen. 210°C, Fan 190°C, Gas mark 7, 20 mins
Pre-heat the oven.
Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven.
Turn over after 10 minutes.
Cook until crisp and golden.

Not nice at all long pieces of tough chewy fish surprised at birds eye producing such a mess

Dry and tasteless

These ruined my dinner. Was happy to see they were not grey pollock but the basa lacked any flavour and the crumb was strangely overly dry. Wont be buying again.

Not what I expected

Don't be caught out by these - they are Basa, a species of catfish and not really a 'white' fish like you would expect with a fish finger. Basa is typically half the price of cod or haddock and for me at least, the reason is obvious when you take a bite.

Very poor

Tasteless, so have plenty of ketchup and cook them at 220c so they aren't soggy or better still take them back .I would have expected much better from bird eye

NOt quite right

There's something weird about the batter, texture is not right, and it somehow feels like less fish than you would expect. Would not buy again.
