Preparation and Usage
Betty's icing tips
For a better result, always stir your ready to spread icing (at room temperature) with a rounded knife before using it.
To ice, spread or pipe onto your cooled Betty Cracker™ cake or cupcakes for an instant beautiful effect.
To glaze a cake:
1 Spread 1/3 of the tub onto the top of your cooled cake.
2 Remove the foil seal completely before placing the tub in your microwave oven. Microwave the icing uncovered at 800 W for 20 seconds ***.
3 Stir thoroughly until smooth. If the icing is too thick to pour, microwave 5 to 10 seconds longer.
4 Pour the icing over your cake so that it drips down on the sides. Delicious!
***Do not overheat - icing may become hot. Handle with care. Ready to spread.
Each tub contains enough icing to cover and fill an 8" cake (serves 12) or cover up 27 cupcakes.

Best Icings
I personally think BC makes the best icings. This one is lovely and smooth going on and dries to a perfect and silky touch -- not messy. Morrisons, you NEED to stock the Vanilla one, though. It's dairy-free for those of us who tend not to buy things like buttercream. That said, I know many people love the buttercream version as well. Thanks.

Best chocolate buttercream
This is the most indulgent and creamy chocolate icing I've ever tasted. It goes amazing on all chocolate cake or vanilla recipes and it's hard not to just sit and eat it with a spoon!

Easy and cheap!
The price of butter is currently sky high so for me to be able to produce an icing this nice that is just for icing kids cakes would cost me far to mimic the quality provided by Betty Crocker products. It's lovely and you do get quite a large amount easily enough to ice a large cake or 12-18 cupcakes depending on how much icing you enjoy.
