Cook longer...if I may suggest?
If I may suggest? Thaw them, slice the big ones thinner and lay in the roasting tray with small ones and pointed ends pushed together to stop burning. Cook at 190 for an hour.......they turn into toffee! I've tried bettering these and it isn't worth the bother, they are superb cooked this way. Maybe a pinch of curry powder?
bits & pieces
I used to love these but lately in the bag its all small bits maybe two whole parsnips in bag not good
Really Nice !
I do mine in a Halogen, Start off with a Warming setting. Slowly. Then Blast them at the End! Crispy, But Moist Inside!
not good
no one in our family enjoyed the taste of these at all after two sessions. Sat in the fridge for 6 weeks until reluctantly cooked.
Nice but size too variable
The flavour of these parsnips is good when they are roasted for the right amount of time. However this is very difficult as the size of the pieces is so variable. Some are half an inch thick, some only half a centimetre! Its impossible to cook them correctly when the sizes are so different. You can choose similar sized pieces to cook but then you end up with tiny and huge bits left in the bag. Good idea, but I wont be buying again. Shame as they are really convenient.
ok if you sort out sizes
Such a massive variation in size with Humongous chunky ones to tiny miniature ones which are not worth doing. You spend time have to sort out the sizes so you can gauge cooking time. Its a recurring theme with Aunt Bessie veg unfortunately. Stick with Yorkie Puds
