History
Apothic is a true original. Named after 'Apotheca', the mysterious place where vintners stored their most coveted concoctions in 13th century Europe, Apothic blends fuse Old World intrigue with modern sophistication. The winemaker lets the character and flavour of each grape variety guide the shape of these wines. Apothic offers enchanting blends that are bold in style and taste.
Regional Information
The grapes used in this blend were grown in an array of vineyards throughout the beautiful California Central Valley. An assortment of micro climates and soil types in the different vineyards leads to unique wine styles in the winery.

Vinification Details
Bold flavours of dark fruit and spice from the Zinfandel, complemented by the soft mouthfeel and black fruits from Merlot, layered with the soft blueberry notes of Syrah and finally supported by the structure and dark fruits of the Cabernet. We used soft vanilla and mocha toned oak to enhance and support the wines elegant appeal.

Gorgeous Red

This red wine is so delicious, fruity, deep and warming. It was a delight to sample and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a glass of red.

Smooth, easy on the pallet.

I like a good red, and long time since I hit jackpot. This is going to be on the shopping list from now on. Bought a bottle when it was on offer last month, but even at this price (currently £9.50) I think this one’s worth it.

Lovely smooth wine, like the dark version but this is also nice

Nothing wrong with the wine. However it was very soft and fruity and tasted a bit generic ( like a lot of the mass produced big brands). Morrisons sell some much better wine at this price point. I would give it 5-6 out of ten.
