More about this product;
Known as the 'king of wines, the wine of kings' Barolo was well loved by the Italian nobility. It's made from the Nebbiolo grape that has a unique aroma of rose petals lingering through the lush fruitiness. To get the flavours just perfect, strict rules apply and the winemakers age the wine in oak barrels for a set amount of time before decanting into bottles. This adds a warming oaky layer to an already amazing wine. Luckily you don't need to be Italian nobility to enjoy this jewel in their crown; make room in your wine rack for a couple of bottles and enjoy.

As a "Wm Morrison Specially Selected" wine I would not select it again. It is sharp, too dry, thin on body and for me undrinkable.
not the best
Agree with the other reviewer, this was a very poor Barolo
Possibly the worst barolo in the world
I was slightly excited when I saw this Barolo as it's about 50% cheaper than most. I purposely chose not to buy a wine I know I enjoy to try this, after all - how wrong can you go with Barolo? Evidently very wrong. It takes cheap and had I even paid AA£5 for this bottle I would have been disappointed. What a shame. Daylight robbery at best. Thanks Morrisons!
Decent Barolo for under A£10 ....mi piace !!
Barolo wine is always expensive and we have never bought it before, so this seemed a bargain and came with extra Morrisons points. It is 14% so we thought it would be rich and full bodied whereas it was actually thin, a pale colour and tasted slightly medicinal. I don't know whether we had a bad bottle but we certainly will not be buying this Italian wine again.
