Preparation And Usage

How & When to Use
1. One handful of organic Chicken Manure Pellets is approximately 35 grams.
2. You can apply organic Chicken Manure Pellets in early spring as a base fertiliser to prepare beds for planting. Then reapply every 3-4 weeks during the growing season for stronger plants and better yields.
3. Use again in Autumn when preparing winter beds.
4. Use higher rates for sandy/starved soils and strong/vigorous plants. Use lower rates for rich/heavy soils and small/sensitive plants.

Soil Improvement
Fork in pellets to condition and produce nutrient rich soils.
Apply 2-6 handfuls (70g-210g) per m² before planting
Apply 1-3 handfuls (35g-105g) per m² before sowing seeds.

Feeding Established Plants
For planting bare rooted plants, apply 1-2 handfuls (35g-70g) into the planting hole, then sprinkle 2-3 handfuls (70g-105g) over soil once planted and water in.
For established plants in beds & borders, apply 4-5 handfuls (140g-175g) per m². Use 2-3 handfuls (70g-105g) if plants are small.

Composting
Sprinkle pellets into each layer of the compost heap to produce nutrient rich soil.
Apply 1 handful (35g) per m²

General Advice
To be used only where there is a recognised need. Do not exceed the appropriate application rate. Increasing the dosage may results in damage to your plants.
Wash hands and exposed skin after use. The use of gloves is recommended when handling this product.
Suitable for use where children and pets are present. However, some pets like to eat manure; in this case make sure all the pellets are thoroughly worked into the soil.
It's a great idea to check your vegetables regularly for pests and diseases.
