Versatile family breakfast
I started buying these as a alternative to porridge if I was pushed for time. Oats are soluble fibre very good for you. I mix them with muesli and fruit. My 18 month old grandchild enjoys one with warm milk and jam
Tasty and filling
I am diabetic and I find one oatibix with milk, yogurt and fresh blueberries is a tasty and satisfying start to the day. It's tricky to find a suitable breakfast cereal that is low GI and isn't full of sugar so I'm glad I've found oatibix!
I enjoyed these they reminded me of cold porridge, that may not sound nice but it really is, I think the texture makes them.
I agree with everyone that it does need more milk. However as an alternative to weetabix its perfect for anyone who suffers with IBS and cant take the wheat fibre. TMI? Sorry.
Soggy? Not at the speed I eat 'em.
Two of these and milk are a great start to the day, but you can also stave off evening munchies with them. As for soggy. Firstly, that's not alway a bad thing. Secondly, buy a bigger spoon or quicker shovelling arm. Thirdly, try them with yogurt or Alpro Chocky Dessert. SLURP.
This cereal is tasty enough. It is less crispy and textured than traditional Weetabix and absorbs the milk more thoroughly. I find I need to put on plenty of milk so that there is some liquid by the time I get near the end of the bowl. It tends to turn into a porridge consistency. On balance I prefer the traditional Weetabix
