Nasty
Tried these once. Never again. Didnt taste anything like a crumpet. Will try the other brand next.
Horrid
I don't like these at all. They're too stodgy, taste burnt and go off too quickly. I'll stick to the other brand... Genius.
awful
I tried the other brand but heard these were better, but not for me. They were too mushy inside, couldn't eat them. If I get desperate for some crumpets I'll have the other brand at a push.
Addictive!
I havent been able to eat gluten for over 10 years now due to an allergy and these crumpets are one of the best gluten free alternatives I have had since then .. I really think they taste just like how I remember crumpets to be. They are addictive and I go through a pack very quickly!
cheap and cheerful
you think warburtons would know what they are doing with baked goods but....bottom side is pre burned- very odd- while the top is barely baked. toasting them further burns the bottom while the top remains untoasted. you give in trying to remedy that with the toaster. pay the extra and buy the genius ones- which are lovely
poor texture
They look the part, but when toasted the texture isnt right for crumpets. They dont hair that sponginess and just seem to crumble. Disappointing as they do look really good
