Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright pale straw-yellow with a very delicate perlage. Bouquet: very fruity and aromatic, with hints of wisteria flowers and Rennet apples. Flavour: Very well-balanced and appealing, with a delicate almond note that is typical of Prosecco.
Up until the 1960s, Prosecco sparkling wine was generally rather sweet and barely distinguishable from the Asti wine produced in Piedmont. Since then, production techniques have improved, leading to the high-quality dry wines produced today.According to a 2008 New York Times report, Prosecco has sharply risen in popularity in markets outside Italy, with global sales growing by double-digit percentages since 1998.
Regional Information
The Prosecco DOC production area is located in northeast Italy, more precisely in the territories of 5 Veneto provinces (Treviso, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Belluno) and 4 provinces in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine), one of the most stunning areas in the Italian peninsula.

Vinification Details

half a bottle

I didn't realise how little this bottle is due to the price. You will only get 2 glasses out of this bottle. Very disappointing as such a lovely prosecco.

Very smooth

Very smooth prosecco, not as acidic as many cheaper ones. Just a shame they price the big bottle the same as this one so I feel ripped off.
