The sugar beet we use travels a short distance to the factory (an average of only 28 miles) direct from the fields around Bury St. Edmunds in East Anglia. We work with 1,200 local farmers to grow the beet which is then made into our range of homegrown sugars for families all over the country.
Sustainability is an important part of what we do. At every stage we are committed to reducing energy use, emissions and waste. All our sugar bags are made from recyclable paper, and the way we make our sugar is so efficient, we provide energy to the local community.
Yes we're proud to be the only sugar grown in Britain and that from field to spoon, our sugar travels fewer miles than any other to reach you.

Seems to have gone up in price a lot this last year. My main concern is that although it's good sugar and still good value, the bags get pierced by the other shopping as they are quite a thin paper (which I'm all for, I think packing methods need to be revised so I don't have to clean it up on most deliveries!).
Out of stock
3 times in last week out of stock now starting to get fed up and go elsewhere
good value and one of my regular purchases.
Better value than smaller packs. Everyone knows what sugar is and this is the same as any other white one.
Love the price.
