Saint Agur originates from the Auvergne region of central France, a region renowned for its centuries-old tradition of blue cheese making. It is made from pasteurised cows’ milk, enriched with cream, and contains 60% butterfat qualifying it as a double-cream cheese. Aged for 60 days in cellars, the cheese becomes stronger and spicier as it ages. Full flavoured intense and creamy taste. It's the perfect balance of a strong, rich blue taste and a smooth creamy texture. It literally melts in the mouth. Saint Agur is an excellent addition to a cheeseboard, it is great with a crusty piece of French baguette, pairs well with grapes, figs and walnuts and is an excellent ingredient in Pasta dishes, Risotto and Salads. My new favourite cheese, soft and creamy lovely with cheese crackers . Highly recommended
This cheese is absolutely delicious. Once youve opened the pack its hard to leave it alone until its all gone.
Really good taste and so creamy. We love this cheese.
my favourite blue
This is my go to staple blue, its one I grew up with. Strong, creamy and soft enough to spread, none of that crumbly blue cheese nonsense here. Dense and decadent and I can happily eat the pack in a weekend with fresh homemade crusty white bread. Thankfully Morrisons havent started stocking the big packets yet and Im in two minds to ask them to. Ive always got a packet of this in my fridge, without fail. The best creamy blue youll find
creamy and delicious
