Traditional Winemaking Method, a white wine fermented "on the skins" giving more flavour

Established in Cahors in 1755, Rigal has developed its expertise in regional and unique grape varieties from the South West of France. This white wine undergoes an old vinification method dating back to 5000BC, which originated in the Caucasus (modern day Georgia). Fermentation takes place with whole grapes so that the juice stays in contact with the skin, giving the wine its orange colour. Selected grapes are harvested from the best hillside plots in Gascony with full sun exposure.
Barely golden appearance with amber highlights. The nose is full of white peach and citrus aromas. The finish is long and complex with toasted notes. It pairs well with vegetarian dishes, fish and cheese. Also try it as an aperitif - you will be pleasantly surprised.

Vile!

Thought I'd try this for a change and wish I hadn't. It has an awful chemical taste to ut, and is so dry it almost strips the skin off your tongue . The first wine I actually tipped down the sink after the first few mouthfuls!

Horrible

Couldnt even finish a glass. Tasted cheap and awful. We are open minded to all different types of wine and were so disappointed with this especially with its independent recommendation/review. Definitely an acquired taste.

Georgian style wine

Confusing, nothing like I tasted before from old or new world wines. Was curious due to this being made following traditional Georgian fermentation style with grape skins. The taste is confusing. I cannot either recommend it or not. Acquired taste?

A full bodied and smooth wine. Citrus tones.

Yummy wine, that does not need to be sweet to be luring.
