Absolutely awful and that’s being polite
Can’t actually say these are the worst porridge oats ever as I haven’t tried all the Quaker Oats products yet and very unlikely to after this experience. Tried one portion and the rest went straight into the bin. Tasteless, bland, flavourless, there is no end to the negative adjectives to describe this product. Why on earth have they bothered to market these porridge oats as a quick meal when you can buy a basic bag of oats for £0.65p or less, add milk, sugar or syrup and microwave in 2 minutes or so, that taste 1000 times better than these?
These have changed
Really dont like these anymore. Have just tried 1 for my breakfast and the texture is gooey and mushy & really doesnt taste very nice at all. I thought it was just the coconut flavour that was horrible as I hadnt tried them before but I always have the golden syrup flavour and noticed on the last batch I got that the packaging had changed, looks like the recipe has too. Wont be buying again
Yeuk, tastes a bit like mushy cardboard, I dont like this at all.
Lovely tasty porridge a lot more expensive than ordinary porridge but worth it and good portions control I buy several when on off.
Slice up a banana and add an extra 30-40 seconds to cooking time. It's unbelievably good.
Perfect every time, just the right sweetness and so easy
