whats happened to pukka pies
Oh for the days when these pies were pukka, now its inedible gristle and thick sludge, no kidney to be seen or tasted.
pukka should be ashamed at this garbage! In the old days you got chunky cuts and nice pieces of kidney and it was a proper pie and chips meal! But this..... This pie is a pale imitation and contains sludge and gravy. Won't be buying again until Pukka fix this as it's just poor quality.
What has happened?
Cost cutting has ruined what WAS a great pie! ........
Steak & kidney.
Nice pie. But not as good as the days they used real pieces of kidney instead of ground! It was always nice to have a real piece of kidney to chew on!
Not as good as they used to be
These always used to be really tasty but now there is little more than gravy inside. i suspect this is to save costs. The pastry remains unchanged and still tastes great. Pukka need to put the chunky steak and kidney back as they once were
