A fruity, young cherry-flavoured Chianti that's as red and racy as a Ferrari. This Chianti needs to be drunk soon - and anyway you won't want this gathering dust, it's too gorgeous. Try it with pizza, pasta or roast chicken.
More about this product;
A delicious, smooth Chianti comes from the Tuscan winery where the Piccini family has been making wines for four generations. The blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Ciliegiolo grapes gives it a soft smooth flavour of fresh cherries.
To enjoy this at its best, drink it soon, but not quickly. The bottle needs to be opened for at least half an hour for the light and lively cherry taste to develop properly. A little patience may also be rewarded with hints of other ripe red fruit. Fill a big glass and gulp away to your heart's content.
This is the Sangiovese grape at its young best and it needs a fresh dish. Try it with a basil, pepper and sausage pasta sauce or even your favourite pizza. Bellissimo!

Chianti Orange is the flagship of Piccini wines. The orange label marks a unique moment not only in the history of the Piccini family, but also in the history of Chianti. The orange label was the first modern image to represent Chianti in the 21st Century. The real change and innovation is in the colour: Orange is a Piccini family legacy as it symbolizes all the energy, youth and passion that characterises the family.
Chianti is one of Italy's best known wines and regions, producing distinctive red styles from the Sangiovese grape. The rolling hills of central Tuscany enjoy hot summers and cool winters with plenty of sunny days to ensure ripeness in the grapes.
Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo grapes, identified uniquely with the soil of Tuscany, are processed at a controlled temperature with a long maceration period. The wine is bottled without ageing in oak.
