I've tasted better its a little bland and clawing in the mouth.
Have always used this sauce but not anymore tasteless
Absolutely love this sauce. As one of the other reviewers said it's great as a base sauce. I fried some caurgette & Mushrooms added this sauce with half a tea spoon of mild chilli powder. Tasted amazing. Will definitely be buying it weekly now.
Little bit bland.
We're not a fussy family at all but we found this pretty bland. We have had it in the past and I dont remember it being so tasteless. However I added some ingredients myself like herbs and stock and it tasted nice so I would use again as a base sauce.

Makes a Great Bolognese
I'm trying to work on my cooking so sauces like this work as a great base. I wiped off my mushrooms with some damp tissue, and the fried off the beef and the mushrooms. The sauce has just gone in and is now simmering. The sauce itself is very rich with a wonderful mushroom flavour. It is also quite sweet but not too sweet. I am looking forward to my mushroom bolognese.
