Pastey and tasteless pesto
Won't ever buy this again. Was claggy in the mouth.
The best supermarket own Pesto Alla Genovese
Ticks all the boxes for for it to be called a Pesto Alla Genovese, but what's with the addition of vegetable fibre? Could do with a few more pine nuts, but given their cost, I can understand why there aren't so many. Cashew nuts, which some brands use as a substitute completely ruin it and do not warrant being called Genovese.
This pesto is miles away from a real Italian pesto. Despite the ingredients' list looks good, it is too sour, it doesn't taste of basil at all. I needed to adjust it with loads of Parmigiano cheese in order to have a barely decent meal.
well done Morrisons
I tried this because the other branded pesto was way too salty. This one tastes good and is not too overpowering.
This is a good pesto, Better than the morrisons own brand pesto. It's good for a jarred pesto.
Good value pesto
So much better than the normal Morrisons pesto, and not that much different to the branded ones. Always keep some in the cupboard.
