NOT the Best at all!
I’ve had shop bought creme brulees from other supermarkets and they’ve been rich in cream and eggs. And very tasty. I also make my own when I have the time with, 6 eggs and full fresh cream, vanilla and sugar. These however were not rich at all. The sugar didn’t caramelise under the grill no matter how long I left it. The custard was a sorry state. Not rich and creamy from egg and cream but rather weak custard you find in the custard tarts. Didn’t taste like it had cream in at all. It was like having skimmed milk vs full cream gold top milk. Will not be buying again. It wouldn’t even reach the basics standard.
Nothing like the real thing
Bought these on a whim in store. Other reviews were spot on in that it just tastes of egg and nothing else! Should taste of creamy vanilla but it comes nowhere close. I’ve had this dessert all over France and this is nothing like the real thing. Disappointing.
Creme brulee always tastes of egg. People must be getting confused with panna cotta (which contains no egg) perfectly correct ratio of egg and dairy and I always add extra sugar. Would highly recommend
Tasted like sweet scrambled eggs. Awful.
-_- meh nothing special
It's basically a posh egg custard tart in a really really small glass jar smh lol
This was absolutely vile. Could not even eat it. Made me nearly sick. Just tasted of PURE EGG.
