NOT BAD !!
I buy this quite often and use it as a base for a curry by adding extra chillis & Pataks Madras sauce & sticking it covered with foil in the oven on 1 for an hour. The main problem for some is the amount of curry leaves which are normally on the top and easy to fish out, mostly. I love curry leaves so use the bits fished out in a separate curry. With added sauce, it's good for two, with other bits. Good value for the price
Really disappointed with this curry. Firstly madras should have a rich tomato base and it took me over ten minutes to pick out all the bay leaves. It was revolting, and i counted over 20 pieces of bay leaf in the curry. Sorry but this is not acceptable, if I could leave no stars I would
I picked up this sheerly because it was reduced in price. But I thoroughly enjoyed this product and will buy this again 10/10
ok but too many bayleaves
Eaten this many times , It tastes pretty good but it feels like its a bay leave madras with added chicken.
Great curry, good taste, not too hot, plenty of thick sauce. Really enjoyed it, possibly not the madras youd get from the curry house but nothing shop bought is. Id order it again.
More bay leaf than curry
What is it about Madras and bay leaves that ready made manufacturers think you need a handful. They are not edible, so it's not bloody funny picking 30, yes i counted, bits of shredded bay leaf out. It adds more insult as the amount of actual curry you get is pitiful as it is. Must be about 2 tablespoons tops. Won't waste my money again.
