As good as a takeaway....
We've had these curries MANY times and they are lovely. Easily as good as a takeaway. I have even frozen them to use at a later date. However, we found the last ones really didn't stand up to freezing at all well. Once thawed, the sauce seemed to have separated and looked completely unappealing. Consequently, we didn't fancy it. x x
Great quality and great value.
Was not the best. Definitely doesn't serve 2 people. Seemed next to nothing in the tub. Far too much almond slices in the amount you were given. Disappointed overall with it.
I can't believe this has had reviews
very good. the desiccated coconuts bits are fine. amazing for price tbh. tender chicken
Good 'meal deal'
I bought this as part of a meal deal - two mains and two sides. I thought it was really good value for money as the takeaway boxes from other supermarkets are much more expensive. This korma tastes fine. Not quite restaurant quality but not far off. The portion size was quite generous and there was plenty of tender chicken. My only issue was, as others have mentioned, these awful tough bits in the sauce. They were actually scattered on the top originally. Thought they were probably raw almond but I think they must be slivers of coconut. They really ruin what is a nice curry. They just don't add anything at all. I haven't ever had anything like that on any korma I've eaten anywhere! Much better if Morrisons remove them. Will be really nice korma then.
Chicken Is Horrible
Won't be buying this or the Tikka Masala again. The last 4 or 5 i've had of these the chicken has been really poor quality. Not nice tasty chunks of chicken but horrible rubbery/gristly off-cuts. Not good. The sauce is quite nice but i'd rather make my own than buy this again. Used to buy these weekly & really enjoyed them until recently.
