This sauce used to be so nice that i would have to buy 4 packs a week. Now its awful no taste and thin. It used to be thick and full of flavour. Bring back the old sauce before you loose customers
I got this because it was as part of the stir-fry deal online but never would have picked it up in store. Main ingredient is water, second ingredient is sugar, amounting to 1/3 of the sauce. Awful for "hidden" sugars, watery and hardly any flavour. Morrisons, you can do better than this!!
Its not like it used to be
It used to be thicker and it seems to me, though I may be remembering incorrectly, that there is not so much in the pack. There is far too much pineapple for me, I assume its increase is to add more weight to the pack and reduce the need for the actual sauce itself. With it now being much thinner and having a higher proportion of pineapple there is now not enough sauce to coat noodles for two people, thats without any veg being added. The sauce seems thick when poured over the noodles at first but as soon as it heats up it becomes much, much thinner - its almost like water. Whatever it is, it is a poor relation to the original formula from a few years back. I gave it two stars simply because it has a nice flavour and is not as processed as the jars, cans or packet mixes - it is also lighter in calories than many others. I find that if I reduce and thicken the sauce by rapidly boiling three packs of sauce there is usually enough to coat enough ingredients for two people. Just.
Used to be amazing, then they changed the recipe
This stir fry sauce used to be a lovely thick sauce that would evenly coat your stir fry. Then all of a sudden it changed to a watery mess that had had half the flavour and none of the consistency. Had a few disappointing meals - the first time we thought it was just a poor batch, so tried it again and found it to be the same poor quality and then gave up. Please bring back your original recipe
