I try to buy organic so bought this to try several weeks ago to take a break from kale which has been fine since the introduction of fresh whole leaf kale. It was tasty and fresh and stood up well to being left in the fridge for a week. I dont like the fact that Organic is so much more expensive than the alternative but if you care to check out Tescos then Morrisons wins by a mile. And often will as they do seem to try to cater to such a wide range of customers. I would pay more if Morrisons would stock more good organic veg and other foods.
At first I didn't want to write a bad review because few times before this product was actually good. The last time however it was ridiculously small, less that 4 inches diameter and the rest all stump. I sent to emails to customer service with a picture but got no answer so maybe the only way to let Morrisons know that they shouldn't sell microscopic broccoli for £1,45 is writing this review.
Glad to say those 2018 are old, I ordered this on purpose, it was surprisingly bigger than usual, tasted lovely and doesn't have all pesticides and nasties always a bonus
I was in a hurry and bought this by mistake; I just wanted normal broccoli. Come on guys £1.45 for this compared to £0.58 for normal. TBH the normal is better tasting and quality than the organic. Just putting organic in front of something and charging 250 percent more for it... you must be insane to purposely buy it.
One of many organic products Morrisons' suppliers seem unable to cultivate to a reasonable size. Organic doesn't have to mean tiny!
I bought this as my son loves broccoli. We usually cook the frozen variety but it ends up very soggy. Mine arrived with a best before of the next day, although my intention was to use it the day after that, so I took a gamble. It didn't pay off as around half of the broccoli was mouldy (very furry). I broke off a piece to try that looked OK and was surprised how different it tasted. It had a very peppery note like rocket, which chopped up raw in a salad would have been great. I'll have to purchase in store on the day I need it next time.
