Preparation and Usage
The floor of your pets home should be covered with 3-6cm of hay to make a comfortable, soft and absorbent carpet. Include a generous supply of hay in one corner or in the sleeping compartment so your pet can snuggle up into a cosy nest. Your pets bedding should be changed at least weekly and soiled bedding should be replaced on a daily basis. Clean your pets home once a week with warm water and a pet safe cleaning product. For best results use in a conjunction with another bedding material such as wood shavings. When using as a feed material, hay should ideally be supplied in a rack to prevent soiling. Give only one days supply and replace any which remains uneaten on a daily basis. Clean feeding bowls and water bowls daily.

Full of sharp twigs. Poor quality.
I had a bag of this last year that had a broken glass bottle in, hadnt reordered it since, ordered last week and its fully of twigs covered in thorns. The hay is all short strands and has a damp feel to. Wont buy again.
Dangerous
Used to be lovely hay. My guineapigs have always loved it for both bedding and daily snack. Now it's so sharp with thorns, pointy sticks and lethal to the touch. Caused an injury on my grandson while he was helping me feed them! And I also bled from handeling the bag after him. Will cause eye poke on animals and other injuries.
Guinea pigs favourite
My two guinea pigs adore this hay. they will eat it straight from the bag if I let them. it's packed just right. not too tight. Good value and a firm favourite for us now. Thank you morrisons.
Used to be good
I’ve been buying this hay for a while now, but have noticed that the last few bags have been more like straw than hay. My guinea pigs won’t eat it and don’t even like to snuggle into it as it’s too coarse.
The proof is in the eating!
I thought I would add how good this hay is, as like many pet owners you search and look for the best. Running low I have used Morrisons Hay as a standby as my rabbits have finished their big bale of Hay from Etsy and I have bought a big box from Amazon. So this £3 bag was a just in case I wouldnt have been disappointed if they didnt enjoy too much. But! It is completely the opposite! I am scratching my head as my three rabbits of different ages and different sizes steam into this hay with gusto! One looked like he was eating spaghetti! It doesnt look good, and to me it doesnt smell good. I spend a fortune on the right colour hay and the different varieties. This bag may last only a week, but considering they are eating it, it is more than good value for money. I see that their nuggets are still in the bowl, as they have favoured the meadow hay over their nuggets. And considering 80% of their diet should be hay, then this is a fantastic find.
Excellent hay but doubled in price
My guinea pigs love this hay and they've tried all others. So handy to get with the shopping rather than go elsewhere. But... from when we got the pigs end 2016 to now, the price of this hay has literally doubled to £3! Hope it's a temporary supply issue.
