you need to mention in the title it's not veggie
We almost bought these assuming they are like every other fresh pasta, made from egg and flour. Thankfully we checked the nutrition and noticed they are 55% beef due to the casing. A product like fresh pasta is commonly known to be vegetarian so putting in the title "traditional Italian" is not enough, it needs to say "contains beef". I'm just glad we checked the nutrition before eating them
Almost as good as making it yourself.
I have taught my two boys how to live easy with a bag of this and a bottle of Sacla Pesto or home made bolognese folded into it. Perfect for a 14 and 15 year old to look after themselves for an evening. regarding previous comment, like any fresh pasta it is at it absolute best cooked al dente. Overcook it and it will lose it's firmness and go pasty. So, put it in boiling water with olive oil and salt, bring the water back to the boil, turn out the heat and leave with a lid on the pan for 2-3 minutes tops. Restaurant quality...almost.
Pasta goes flat when cooked
Was disappointed with this pasta bought it as thought it would be quicker to cook, but if anything took just as long as dry pasta. Once cooked the pasta doesn't hold its shape and goes flat
