Not for eating or peeling
Makes a superb fish stock for fish soup/curry/pasta sauce. Simmer for 30 mins with a small chopped onion and two garlic cloves then blitz in the nutribullet and sieve. Fantastic flavour. Add lemon/fennel/orange zest. Whatever you fancy.

Good value and although the flesh may seem small, they're extremely tasty. Even better, use heads and shells to make a quick shellfish stock- fry off in butter until golden, add 300ml water and simmer 10 min. Stain through fine sieve. Return to wiped out frying pan, bring to boil, add cream, season and simmer 5 min. Add prawn flesh for last min and serve over pan fried/steamed white fish- magnificent!

when you take all the shells off, with much effort, you realise how little you actually get. a lot of mine had eggs too, but they're edible i suppose.

They tasted like prawns used to taste. Large pack. Juicy. Really nice and great value.
