You just can't make shortbread without butter. Yuck. I bought these because they were gluten free, I didn't realise they would be dairy free too. They are dry and powdery and don't have that creamy, buttery shortbread taste. They are going in the bin. Morrisons free from chocolate digestives are delicious, why can't these be the same?
Crumbly and tasty
Great find for gluten free. just started gluten free diet and looking for foods which are edible and do not taste like cardboard! These biscuits and the free from jam tarts are my best finds yet. in fact these biscuits taste better than normal biscuits.
From the couple of biscuits I got to eat of these I enjoyed. Couldn't eat the rest as the dog went into thief mode, stole the packet and ate the rest. So, they must be good.
Some of the best shortbread Ive ever tried, and totally milk free!
lovely vanilla tasting shortbread
These are lovely, a nice crumbly texture and buttery vanilla taste. Not surprised they're out of stock currently as they seem to be the only Morrisons gluten free biscuits with an oat free recipe; I can't tolerate oats so the new biscuit recipes aren't an improvement for me.
