weird eggs

when boiled the whites would peel like actual chicken, it has a weird texture and the yolk was white to a light yellow.

Lovely eggs

Really happy with these eggs - no issues with thin shells or broken as others mentioned. The yolks were deep yellow, almost orange, and tasted really delicious. I'm buying these every week now, hopefully helping farmers too. Good work Morrisons!

Maybe I was unlucky

Maybe I was unlucky, but these arrived with three of them cracked. Also, when I boiled some of them, they were very difficult to peel, taking bits of the white of the egg off along with the shell, and they were an unusual texture once hard boiled, the yolk was fine, but the white was sort of soggy. I'm really not new to boiling eggs (approx 35 years experience) and I've never had eggs with that texture before. When using the rest for scrambled eggs, I noticed that the shells were very thin, which probably explains them arriving with three cracked. Would buy again if they were the only option available, but I'd definitely not use them for boiling.

Very small for medium sized

The eggs have a great consistency & and colour, which shows they've been well fed & cared for. My only gripe is the Medium size category, as these would certainly be a small in my book. As for some of the other comments, they obviously have no idea how to store eggs or recognise quality. These have a decent enough colour yolk to qualify as free range. The size is my gripe as I have to use 5 eggs to make my usual 3 egg omelette.
