Im fussy with curries but this tasted authentic. I added a bit of fresh coriander. Sorted
I like the counted meals generally but this one is a definite miss. there isn't much taste at all, even with my trusty hot sauce added to try and save it. I would try one of the others, the chicken tikka masala isn't bad for example.
Good for what you pay for
For a low calorie ready meal this was better than expected, the sauce was a little thin but tasted very much like a normal chicken curry would, the smell similar to a korma but a little sweeter just needed a pinch of salt
This wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It is quite bland but there is a spicy aftertaste with it. I've had better but it was cheap so I can't complain.
OK for the price
Bargain price and low calories tempted me to try this, despite some of the reviews. I found the chicken was decent and tender. The sauce wasn't watery at all so perhaps the recipe has changed since some of the previous reviews. I had to agree though it was a little bland. I added salt and that was just enough to lift it out of the realms of tastelessness. The rice was lovely and fluffy. All in all I thought it was reasonable for the price. In future though I'll stick to the Thai green curry which is 50p more but it's far superior.
Something missing....oh yes FLAVOUR!
