Appear to have added water
Look large raw but once cooked are much smaller and a lot of water in the pan. Only two breasts for such a high price - get much more from other supermarkets
Doesn't last until BB date
I have bought this product and another similar product -pack of Chicken legs and thighs- and have had to throw both away as they had gone off before the best before date. Not acceptable.
When I opened the packet there were about 2 tablespoons of liquid in the packet. Also when I cooked these and ended up with an entire bowlful of liquid to get rid of. The chicken had a strange texture and strangely no flavour. Customer support refuses to look at whether the product information is correct and refers me instead to the info on the packet. I refuse to believe that this product does not have added water in it.
I buy this pack regularly and I think its good value for money. The amount of chicken is generous. The only down side is that the sell by date is often short, but we often eat it within a couple of days so its not too much of an issue
keeps going off far before use by date
I am really disappointed in this product Ive just had to throw a whole packet away and it was clearly off with 2 days to go on its best before . Terrible smell from fillets and a green tinge . Ruined dinner plans very annoyed I have never had this at other supermarket stores but just keeps happening from Morrisons ! Will not buy again
Can't stress enough how poor the quality of this chicken is, the texture is disgusting and it looks like it's been chemically enlarged. Will not be buying this again and rethinking whether to stay with Morrisons as so much of their meat is a similar standard, even the higher-cost ranges.
