Translucent

I've bought these a few times this year. 50% of them have been translucent with no taste. There's also a funny smell from the plastic. not sure why they need to be in a plastic bag. so much waste.

Rotten before I used them.

I have bought these carrots for years, but recently the quality has been dreadful. The tops are black and starting to rot, and after 24 hours (unwrapped) in a vegetable rack in a cool garage, they are so soft they are impossible to peel. The parsnips are the same. Very disappointing.

Empty the bag when it arrives!

These are crunchy carrots with a reasonable amount of flavour. I too received a bag which was wet inside and already had one carrot going bad, but opening the bag on receipt and tipping out the carrots so they could dry off completely before putting in the fridge solves the problem.

Weird looking

Nice big carrots but they looked and tasted weird. The colour went from dark orange to light orange from top to bottom. Not sure if this is the first stage of rotting. They went in the compost bin!!

Carrots mouldy on delivery

The ends of the carrots had started to decompose. On delivery I placed the two bags I had ordered in the fridge. The next day I removed some to prepare and noticed they were mouldy. Not a lot of quality control I’m afraid!

Not the best

Why are these carrots washed so much? It makes them compost down to a slimy mess so quickly. Its a shame, as they are nice carrots, but unless you can eat the whole bag within a few days, not great. Ive tried removing from the plastic bag and storing in fridge in kitchen roll, which keeps them a bit longer, but theyd last much longer if they werent already wet when packed.
