Watered and not great flavour

Not terrible, but 35% means no kick and you have to put more in a mixer.

What do you expect for 12 quid

Firstly don't get confused, it is a "spirit drink" like all spiced Rum so it is perfectly legal to sell at 35% and Below, Lamb's Spiced Rum is 30% so the statement in one comment is untrue. I had a bottle of this given to me at Christmas as a gift from a Neighbour I didn't drinking it in Cola I used it in cooking (Made a nice Rum Butter and Rum Sauce to go over the Xmas Pudding) Personally I only like The Kraken Black Spiced Rum or Dead Mans Finger. I also chuck a capful of this one in a coffee now and then which will use it up eventually. Each to their own I say as my Wife said it isn't too bad however she used to drink Lambrini & unlike me she didn't spend 30yrs in the Hotel & Restaurant trade and knows the difference between quality and affordability.

Asda is cheaper

Haven't tried this yet but Asda own brand is cheaper and tastes quite nice :)

Not rum

At only 35%, this is legally not allowed to be called rum. Avoid!

Nasty

This is not spiced rum. It is barely even rum. A nasty, nasty drink and I tried hard to like it. Do not buy this.

Ok but slight medicinal taste

ok for a cheap option but I did not enjoy the medicinal taste this left in my mouth. won't be buying again.
