Remove from fridge 10 minutes before cooking to allow meat to warm at room temperature. Ensure pan is hot by pre-heating over a high heat before adding a little oil. Season meat and add to the pan. Ensure the meat is fully sealed on all sides.
Rare: Fry for 1 minute 30 seconds on each side.
Medium: Fry for 3 minutes on each side.
Well done: Fry for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to preference. Remove from heat, cover and keep warm to allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

So tough we couldnt eat it, whats waste of money

I used to buy these all the time however the last few times I have bought were really poor quality. They have been packed so the look good but when you get them out of package they are covered in sinew.
I think these are great for the price. We get them on a regular basis to have with chips and peppercorn sauce. We have found them to be as nice as other steaks from Morrisons - so worth the price.
I wasn’t expecting this to melt in my mouth at this price but I also wasn’t expecting it to be so tough my knife wouldn’t cut through it. Wish I had read previous review before purchase.
Worst of the steaks available
Morrisons sell much better steaks than these. This is an ambigous name, refers to the shape so could be any type of beef. I cook steak weekly but these turned out v tough & flavourless. I will stick to rump or bavette for value that you can still eat!
