Just not right! Not fresh!
Inedible! smelt very strange indeed. Cut inside meat to see more, it was a different colour inside to the outside. Had to throw away, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. never going to buy meat from a super market again! Going to my local butcher next time.
This is pretty good steak but for years I have been put off by your advert photo, I fully expected steak with a big piece of gristle through the middle, but no just a small piece, change the photo.
Quality Not As Expected at all!
Very disappointing meal & I really did not think this meat was braising steak at all. We usually have shin of beef which melts & falls apart when cooked correctly & is delicious. This meat was more like a piece of rump!! Solid, tough & not enjoyable at all. We will do without if the shin of beef is not available- not your usual standard of meat at all.
its so awful lot of fat yuck
Great for meat and potato pie
Cooked in a pan with onions and then taties for 2 hours, then put into a pie, this was great. No horrible hard bits of fat, it melted in the mouth and tasted great. Good value for money I thought.
It always happens to me
I like to use this in my slow cooker and its lovely. I always buy it when its on offer, except I am always charged the full price. I called customer services to tell them about it but I couldnt make the person understand. I just gave up. Now we have no printed receipt its harder for us to notice when we are overcharged.
