Would not buy again
Certainly would not purchase this again, the batter is far too thick and soggy tasting, with a tiny sliver of very bland halloumi inside. Very disappointed by this product.
Haloumi too thin. Batter too thick. Haloumi is lost in the batter which is a real shame as beer batter has potential. Would prefer package to only have 2 pieces in if they were double the thickness.
Gorgeous ... comfort food not to be missed
Fabulous with chips ... one piece is enough with chips and veg for a filling meal so a very cheap comfort meal for these wintery evenings. Also, taste great on a wrap with salad.
I risked buying these even though they had bad reviews. Unfortunately, they were really disappointing. A big, thick layer of tasteless, soggy batter filled with a slither of halloumi.
This is the second time I have had these. The first time I didnt rate them but thought it must be down to the cooking. Tonight I cooked them for longer but was still faced with a play-dough like batter. The Halloumi is thin and doesnt have any flavour. These need taking off the shelves!
middle of the road
it's not horrible or great but for the price it's ok. i would say the batter is bit greasy which stands out when having it with salad. maybe less batter
