Where is the filling?
No beans no sausage all pastry
Bland
Title says it all, bland. Wouldn't recommend when there's so many Greggs and bakery shops selling these and they're actually nice when you buy them there
no beans or sausages
There are no beans or sausages in this. It is just the mush in middle. Terrible waste of money!
Puréed beans & zero sausage
Disappointing. Absolutely no sausage unless puréed in with the beans? But didnt taste that way! Was like eating some pastry with a bit of baked bean paste. Dont waste your time.
filling what filling
contained about 8 beans and 2 tiny slices of sausage, pretty naff !
Did they forget the filling?
Thought these looked great, sausage, beans and cheese. What's not to like? I was feeling quite hungry, so popped both of them in the oven to warm through for a few minutes, ready myself to be greeted by the smell of cheesy beans and sausage. I opened the oven and just smelt pastry. Still, they were bulging, looking full to the brim of cheesy, bean goodness. I bit into one of them and just had a mouthful of pastry. I peered inside and saw nothing, there was a very light coating of (what can only be described as) bean sauce on the bottom of the inside of the pastry. No sausage in there, no cheese and definitely no beans other than a thin layer of orangey gunk. Perplexed, I opened it up fully, that bulge in the pastry was nothing but air. There was no filling. O tore open the second one thinking that perhaps I had a dud, the same thing. Just a layer of orange gunk, no cheese and no sausage. The picture on the box is most definitely misleading, worse than a Mcdonald's ad for a Big Mac. There's nothing in these things. They're 90% pastry and 10% bean juice. Best to avoid if you're looking for something with any kind of flavour or filling.
