stringy & chewy AND tender & delicious
All the reviews are correct, both the good and the bad!! I bought 2 packets, 4 breasts in total, used for the same meal and cooked the same way. 2 of us ended up with wonderful chicken, but my son and I could barely eat ours. I actually threw half of my piece away because my jaw was aching and it just wasnt nice. I dont think this is Morrisons fault. My sister in law said the same about the M&S organic chicken. Its because its not pumped full of hormones from an inactive battery chicken. Im really not sure whether to buy again myself. Its a lot of money to waste, but I dont want to buy regular chicken, for health and cruelty reasons. I think Ill try once more.
When buying meat organic is important to me. The first time I bought it it turned out dry but I realised that was due to me over cooking it. I tried it again and cooked for a little less time and it was lovely. I now buy every week.
I read the mixed reviews but thought il try it! Glad I did. Cooked in oven on 200 for around 35 mins & I put sea salt, garlic & tumeric on it, was absolutely gorgeous! Will buy again
Tasty quality organic chicken
Always use these to make chicken schnitzal, never ever disappointed! Delicious.
You're using low heat and for too long
Use hot cast iron skillet with just a brush of Morrisons cold pressed rape seed oil, season with Cornish seasalt which is Iodine and additive free, fresh ground black pepper I use Tellicherry which tastes amazing then cook them turning over once until 165f in the center of the thickest part I use a digital prob thermometer for this, you cannot fail honest.
Its in the cooking
Lots of reviews on here saying its tough but skinless chicken breast from a free range chicken is beautiful when cooked correctly. It has no skin so will dry if not covered or if cooked to long. I have bought and cooked this for years and have always been happy with the quality of the product. Its just a shame it isn't as well stocked in some stores.
