a bit disappointed.
I have been buying this bread for many years now and have been satisfied with it, apart the last loaf. When I put two end slices, after the crust, in the toaster I noticed how small they looked at this end. The other was normal. Checking against the middle slices I found that they were 1 inch plus smaller. I realise that most loaves tend to slope towards the end but this was very noticeable. I will still buy the bread but I hope I don't pay for the full weight of it when it clearly isn't.
Second time i have had to complain about bakery items squashed on delivery. Surely bread should not be packed with boxes of tarts etc. At least it would help it not be squashed in transit.
Goes into our weekly shop, lovely texture with the seeds and soft loaf.
Lovely bread but Hovis need to address crust
Won't but Hovis again until they address the crusts splitting. You open the loaf to find the top third of each slice has become detached so end up throwing the top crusts away.
The best sliced bread I've found. Tastes great and is consistently good. It keeps fresh for quite a while and also freezes well.
very Nutty but without the nuts
I love this bread it is so nutty without the nuts, full of different kinds of seeds, very tasty bread ideal for sandwiches Just ensure if you have it delivered online they don't crush it like mine was, It had been squished so much by all heavy items it was almost unusable
