Seemed that steaming these would be excessively slow so removed their aluminium cups by running them under a tap and then put them in a microwaveable container, covered it and cooked at full power - 2 puddings - at 900W for 5 minutes. Came lout piping hot, Suet crust was a little tough in a couple of places but otherwise seemed to work well. Tasty, but not a lot of meaty chunks - did find a piece of kidney though!
well this have nice suet pudding pastry and gravy but the meat is rubbish full pipes yuk not buying again. I'm back to making my own.
Waited in full anticipation. When opened gravy was great but only had 4 pieces of recognisable meat. Each piece no bigger no bigger then 1/8" inch.. Biggest disappointment ever. Would not recommend
Tried these for the first time and was quite impressed. The next time I fancy steak & kidney pudding I will definitely but these.
Lovely treat for myself and my partner.
Bought these puddings based on the positive reviews and can honestly say I wasn't disappointed..Steamed them in the pressure cooker for 25 minutes from frozen sat above water level..plenty of filling and gravy and served up with some mushy peas in a bowl .Can also cook in microwave but I prefer the traditional way.
