Hardys have long established a name for themselves as one of Australia's big-hitters when it comes to wine. But the Bankside label is for a breed of 'cut-above' bottles - and doesn't it show? This rose is fresh, fruity and cheeky, as it should be, and dripping with raspberry and strawberry flavours. But it also has a citrussy depth, which gives it a little more presence than many soft pinks. It goes without saying that this is a spot-on picnic and party wine, but it also makes a great let-your-hair-down midweek tipple, too.

Today our winemakers continue to uphold the Hardys pioneering and visionary spirit, crafting quality wines for people to enjoy across the globe.

Bankside is an exclusive range of carefully selected wines which celebrates the original home of Hardys along the River Torrens. Purchased in 1853 it is here that Thomas Hardy first planted vines on the land he named Bankside.

History

In 1853 Thomas Hardy bought a large block of land alongside the banks of the Torrens River, it was here that he built Hardys Bankside Cellars. Sadly the cellars were destroyed by fire in 1905 and this wine is a tribute to these first cellars.
