so tasty! great pie
I actually chucked everything in the slow cooker and left it on low while I was at work. Thickened with gravy when I got home and popped in a dish and used some ready rolled puff pastry for the top so tasty and quick to do when home from work. Made 4 portions and the best steak and ale sauce Ive found. Will be buying again. I used shin of beef and was perfect.

tasty
Thought we would give this a try and we wasn't disappointed. It made a tasty hearty pie. I cooked the filling the day before so the meat had extra time to marinade. Hubby declared " it was restaurant quality."
