looks horrible when first removed from the tin because of the jelly but once its warmed up and then grilled its beautiful. The meat is very nice and the caramalised sauce is slightly sweet. definitely buy it again
Proper meat, not preformed, in soft brown jelly. Slightly sweet. I love jellied meats so I was really pleased, but there is a bit too much ratio of jelly to meat. For those who dont like jelly, reheat and turn it into a sauce or gravy. Full chunks of gammon are used and I think that all fat hadnt been trimmed off before canning. Shredded easily. overall it depends on your taste and it suits mine.
Tasted of tin and Cola
I just didn't like it. It looked interesting on the tin and I suppose it's a convenient and just about edible product but it smelled and tasted like salty pigswill to me!
I'm really fussy
...but while preparing for the end of the world ...Brexit. I thought I would try out some long life products. I tried this with Morrisons ...not an advert lol... carrots and potatoes ...both from a can... along with various seasonings and spices..and....it was...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! ps. why can I not use brackets????
